What is the difference between bilberry fruit extract and bilberry plant extract?

Well, the main answer would obviously depend on what part of the plant that second company is using. There are some lower quality (or lower scruples) companies that may make a product that is labeled as a good herb, but then they put some part of the plant in the pill that has little to no benefit. The berry (fruit) of the Bilberry is what gives benefit to the eyes, but if they say “plant”, that could be from the berry, leaves, stem, root, etc… some of which have no benefit except the fiber content.
You could call that second company and ask which part of the plant they use, but it would probably be easier just to stick with the fruit/berry extract. Good luck and I hope I helped!
